pastor is inviting people to bring their guns to church to celebrate
the Fourth of July and the Second Amendment.
New Bethel Church is welcoming "responsible handgun owners" to wear their firearms inside the church on June 27, a Saturday.
An ad says there will be a handgun raffle, patriotic music and information on gun safety.
Church
pastor Ken Pagano says guns must be unloaded and private security will
check visitors. He says recent church shootings make it necessary to
promote safe gun ownership.
Marian McClure Taylor is executive director of the Kentucky Council of Churches.
She
says churches work to prevent violent harm and promote peace, but most

THE Royal Navy’s “Top Gun” pilot and veteran of almost 200 missions in Afghanistan has relived the hair-raising aerial manoeuvres used against a Taliban stronghold.
Lieutenant Simon Rawlins, sale 30, click described flipping his Harrier jet upside down while flying up the side of a mountain at more than 500mph to scare off enemy troops.
The “show of force” mission required the fighter pilot to fly just 100ft above ground, the minimum safe distance, leaving him vulnerable to rocket attack and rifle fire.
Rawlins has clocked up in excess of 400 flying hours – more than any other navy pilot – providing air support for British and Nato troops in Afghanistan over five years.

Sotomayor will have the majority party strongly on her side, and odds are things will end happily for her.

It is simply not possible to have liberty in a society where some are disenfranchised of their rights–as is the case in most of urban America as far as the right to keep and bear arms is concerned. The bad people have whatever weapons they want, and the people who obey the laws are relegated by edict into the disarmed victim pool. So I believe it is important to spread this video as far and wide as possible.
Some may say the politics of "gun control" reflects the leadership the affected populace wants. I would remind them that rights are not subject to majority rule–five of us can’t get together and force four of you to convert to our religion, or to self-incriminate. Likewise, we should not be able to compel any peaceable person to disarm.

Then you are notified by letter that your franchise, healing which you own, ambulance will be taken away from you without compensation. What would you do?
This is exactly what has happened to Georce C. Joseph of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu in Melbourne, Florida: “On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them.”

The wheels of General Motors are rolling straight toward a government-mandated bankruptcy. Chrysler has already made its appearances in bankruptcy court. Through all of this turmoil in the auto industry sit government officials who are ready and willing to take control. When these companies went to Washington with their hands out, they surely didn’t comprehend the strings that would be attached.
Through Obama’s "auto task force," Chrysler and GM are being told what to do and how to do it. Restructuring plans are presented, not to a board of directors, but to the federal government. When all is said and done, the federal government (the U.S. taxpayers) could end up owning most of GM. The government is now in control, but do they know how to drive?
"Personally, I was going to write about a Modern Day Tea Party calling for a complete boycott of anything new GM builds as a result of "President" NObama’s heavy handedness as what he deems accaptable for the American consumer to drive their families around in.
The only people to benefit financially from these coffins on wheels are the workers that build these cars and put NObama in office.
After what these constituents of his did to undemine the last President of the U.S.A. they deserve nothing but failure.
Noone is going to tell me what I can drive, noones gonna take my V8….
