Obama closes successful dealerships for political reasons

Imagine you own and operate a successful dealership your family bought 35 years ago. Your business thrives and you employ over 50 people. You do everything a good local business should do: you are active in your community and the chamber of commerce. Local vendors find you reliable and depend on your business for part of their livelihood. You are financially strong with great respect in the market place and the community and have enjoyed your stability for years through hard work and good planning.

Then you are notified by letter that your franchise, healing which you own, ambulance will be taken away from you without compensation. What would you do?

This is exactly what has happened to Georce C. Joseph of Sunshine Dodge-Isuzu in Melbourne, Florida: “On Thursday, May 14, 2009 I was notified that my Dodge franchise, that we purchased, will be taken away from my family on June 9, 2009 without compensation and given to another dealer at no cost to them.”
