On Feb. 14, approved 2007, stomach Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) introduced H.R. 1022, viagra sale a bill with the stated purpose, "to reauthorize the assault weapons ban, and for other purposes." McCarthy`s choice of words warrants explanation.
Obviously, what she means by "assault weapons ban" is the now-discredited Clinton Gun Ban of 1994. Congress allowed the ban to expire in 2004 for multiple reasons, including the fact that studies by the Congressional Research Service, congressionally-mandated studies, and studies by state and local law enforcement agencies showed that guns affected by the ban had been used in only a small percentage of crime, before and after the ban was imposed.

This Sunday morning there was a very disturbing propaganda broadcast on CBSs’ FACE THE NATION.
There were few law makers admitting that a hearing on firearms was coming up in the Senate.
Make no mistake folks, this is going to be bigger than it seems, no wonder the dem’s were keeping hush hush on the moments following the tragedy at VT.
There mention of getting an Attorney General and President that would follow through with the legislation "necessary" to prevnt this type of tragedy from happening again. And Ill bet those interviewed weren’t going to abolish victim disarment zones. It has to be the new MkKarthy bill H.R. 1022.
Sarah Brady and her cronies lied with a straight face to the camera and mentioned gun control advocates are not for taking away anyone’s firearms, just making it harder for those that should not have firearms to gain access to them.
We as law abiding citizens need to make sure no feel good legislation gets rammed through that prevents us from defending what means most to us.

Linden Sportsmen Club in Linden, Michigan, will hold a John C. Garand Match M1s for Vets Fundraiser on Saturday, 12 May. . The entry fee is $25.00, including lunch. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place based on total scores. Competitors using other service rifles are welcome to shoot, but they will not be eligible for awards. John O’Shea of the Lake Norman Highpower Club near Huntersville, North Carolina started M1s for Vets. The program began in November 2005 with a single rifle being presented to a wounded Marine veteran of the Global War on Terror. Since then this program has given, as a small token of appreciation for their sacrifice, examples “of the greatest battle implement ever devised” to 80 wounded veterans. To help fund this endeavor, $20.00 from each competitor’s match fee and all profits from ammunition sales at the match goes to M1s for Vets. Donations of money and spare parts for M1s will also gladly be accepted. The Phoenix Federal Bureau of Investigation created a flyer some time back asking the recipients to help them fight domestic terrorism. Called the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the program was created, presumably, to help preserve the American way of life. This flyer was created — by the feds — to disseminate information about who the bad guys might be. However, its wording made it look like a disinformation campaign to paint at least a few groups of Real Americans as domestic terrorists. Among other things, the FBI was asking people:
"If you encounter any of the following, Call the Joint Terrorism Task Force":
"defenders of the US Constitution against federal government and the UN"
[That describes many civil liberties groups and most gun rights and American Sovereignty groups in existence -- and, by extension, their members.]
"Groups of individuals engaging in para-military training"
[Such as, perhaps, shooting your semi-automatic "assault weapon" with some friends out in the desert?"]
Also being sought are "Common Law Movement Proponents" who
"Request authority for a stop"
[That's illegal now?]
"Make numerous references to the US Constitution"
[That's illegal now?]
"Attempt to ‘police the police’"

2. Washington DC’s low murder rate of 69 per 100,000 is due to strict gun control, and Indianapolis’ high murder rate of 9 per 100,000 is due to the lack of gun control.
3. Statistics showing high murder rates justify gun control but statistics showing increasing murder rates after gun control are "just statistics."
4. The Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons Ban, both of which went into effect in 1994 are responsible for the decrease in violent crime rates,which have been declining since 1991.
