I shot the hog once with a .44 magnum (the one in the photo). The hog charged towards me after he was shot but he only covered about 20 feet of ground. I was 10 yards away when I shot, and I was backing up while keeping the crosshairs on the hog as he was moving towards me. With some current assets of the Australian defence forces now somewhat out of date, the Australian government has moved closer to finalising deals to replace the old with the new. Army will replace it’s existing Leopard AS-1 MBT’s with an improved and upgraded M1A1 Abrams variant. Improvements are also being made to the Army’s range of ASLAV armored vehicles and a new vehicle, called the Bushmaster will be introduced shortly to allow new capabilities for escorting vital convoys and improving the security and survivabilty of the Australian infantry units on deployment.
