Is Palin as politician at an end? No so says history!

It was 1962. Richard Nixon had had enough. Enough of being
called "Tricky Dick, the man no one would buy a used car from."
Enough of the elitist derision that had come his way since the Hiss case.

He
had had enough of the liberal media who consistently held him to a higher
standard than his Democratic opponents and poked fun at his lack of
sophistication – he being the son of a grocer. So Nixon blew. He announced the
end of his career in seeking elective office; "You won’t have Dick Nixon
to kick around anymore because, gentlemen, this is my last press
conference."

Six years later he was inaugurated as President of the United
States

The "New Palin" is crucial to the expansion beyond
her base of true believers to be a viable presidential candidate. The obvious
place for Palin to re-tool her political image is FOX television. FOX’s viewers
are Palin’s potential voters.

It is ironic that FOX president Roger Ailes is
the genius TV producer who erased candidate Nixon’s flaws in a controlled
environment and facilitated the greatest political comeback in American
history, is at the helm at FOX.

RASMUSSEN POLL CONFIRMS AMERICANS FEAR OBAMA GUN CONTROL AGENDA

A new Rasmussen poll reveals that 57 percent of American citizens believe gun
sales are up over the past several months because of widespread fears that the
government will tighten restrictions on gun ownership.

“The poll results
confirm what we’ve been saying, viagra ” noted Alan Gottlieb, rx chairman of the Citizens
Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. “American citizens are fearful
that the Obama administration and a Democrat-controlled Congress will pass new
laws to further erode the individual right to own firearms. This concern was
further enhanced by yesterday’s ruling in Minnesota that far left anti-gunner Al
Franken should be seated as a U.S. Senator representing that state, giving
Democrats a 60-member majority.”

Federal agents hunt for guns, one house at a time

The ATF recently dispatched 100 veteran agents to its Houston division, more about which reaches to the border.
The mission is
especially challenging because, officials say, that while Houston is
the number one point of origin for weapons traced back to the United
States from Mexico, the government can’t compile databases on gun
owners under federal law.
Agents instead review firearms dealers’ records in person.
People who are
legally in the United States and have clean criminal records, but are
facing economic problems are often recruited by traffickers to buy
weapons on their behalf in order to shield themselves from scrutiny.[Read more]

Flag-burning man sues city

A Hondo man who was cited for burning the Mexican flag in front of the Alamo is suing the city of San Antonio, diagnosis park rangers and The Daughters of the Republic of Texas over the matter.

David Bohmfalk, salve 48, claims he burned the flag on May 17, 2007, to protest a Senate bill that would have given amnesty to millions of unauthorized immigrants. The measure did not become law.
