Things change. Change you can believe in. But it doesn’t always change all at once and we don’t always recognize the change; especially on the Internet.
But with the help of the Ghost Of Internet Past (aka WayBack Machine) we are able to see what a website looked like ‘back in the day’. This can lead to embarrassment.
RealClearPolitics obtained the following fake transcript of an utterly fictitous conference call between Barack Obama, Kim Jong-Il, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hugo Chávez.
[BEGIN TRANSCRIPT]
Barack Obama: Good morning. We have on the phone the Supreme Leader of the DPRK—
Kim Jong-Il: Mr. President, Dear Leader is fine. And I received your letter last week. Thank you for including the Obama “change the world” t-shirt. I’m going to wear it in my latest film. It’s about my epic life. I’ve kidnapped all the best talent in Asia for supporting cast. Did you know that a double rainbow and a bright star appeared over the mountaintop when I was born? I’m the sun of my nation.
Obama: I’ve read that. Ok. Let’s get started. Also on the line are President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela.
Hugo Chávez: Hello Barack! Did you read the book I gave you?
Obama: Not yet. But thank you. Ok gentlemen, it’s late — 2:50 a.m.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: It’s only 2:50 in Washington. Imperialist. And that’s not a big deal. I launch Sajjil-2 missiles with my eyes close at that time. Really, I did the other day. Closed my eyes.

Though the company held on for an admirable 17 months, the inevitable happened this week: Psystar, maker of Mac clones, was ordered by a judge to immediately and permanently stop selling computers with Mac OS X preinstalled. The Miami-based company, founded by brothers Rudy and Robert Pedraza, tried challenging Apple’s assertion that its end-user licensing agreement prevents anyone from installing Mac OS on non-Apple hardware. It argued that Apple was a monopoly and engaged in unfair business practices, but in the end was found to have violated Apple’s copyright and trademark.
However, there are other Mac clones out there (aside from the now owned by Apple ‘Power Computing’) which get around legal issues by… Well, you can read about it here.
White House Gun Agenda Puts You On The Terror Watch List
We warned America that Obama’s ‘support’ for the Second Amendment was empty rhetoric. Now Holder’s disclosure has confirmed it. Obama was lying, and now gun rights may be dying.
Obama said “I’m not going to take your guns away” and “Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear…I think people can take me at my word.”
Right now, I wouldn’t take Obama’s word if he said it rains a lot in Seattle.
Obama sent Holder to detail his support for a national gun owner registration scheme and authorizing the government to ban firearm possession for any person by merely adding that person’s name to the terror watch list.

A Federal judge holds that carrying a firearm concealed justifies detention and disarmament!
Northern District of Georgia federal judge Thomas W. Thrash Jr. ruled today that carrying a firearm on MARTA justifies forcible detention by the police, in a federal civil rights lawsuit filed over the half hour long detention and disarmament of GeorgiaCarry.Org member Christopher Raissi.
Judge Thrash also held that merely carrying a concealed firearm justifies detention and disarmament. He wrote in his opinion that “possession of a firearms license is an affirmative defense to, not an element of, the crimes of boarding [MARTA] with a concealed weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.”
After Raissi concealed his handgun and started walking to toward the MARTA station, he had committed all of the acts required for the crime of boarding with a concealed weapon and the crime of carrying a concealed weapon.
As a result, Judge Thrash concluded that the officers had reasonable suspicion that Raissi was committing two crimes.

Gun-control advocates love to pretend they’re only pushing for “common-sense” laws, but I’d love to hear global gun-banner Rebecca Peters defend the law that’s going to put Paul Clarke behind bars for five years, all because he found a gun and turned it over to police.
According to the law in England, when Paul touched the shotgun that someone had thrown into his garden, he became a criminal. And when he went to the police station to hand over the shotgun, he ended up arrested and thrown in jail, despite the fact that the Surrey police tell residents they can report found firearms at the station.
Can Ms. Peters really claim that justice is being served here? Because of a bad law, a good man is going behind bars for five years. There is no common sense here, just the unjust outcome that inevitably results when a gun-banning ideology takes hold. – [source]
[AP] It’s been the year of the gun in Tennessee. In a flurry of legislative action, handgun owners won the right to take their weapons onto sports fields and playgrounds and, at least briefly, into bars.
A change in leadership at the state Capitol helped open the doors to the gun-related bills and put Tennessee at the forefront of a largely unnoticed trend: In much of the country, it is getting easier to carry guns.
A nationwide review by The Associated Press found that over the last two years, 24 states, mostly in the South and West, have passed 47 new laws loosening gun restrictions. – [source]
 damned these bits and bytes
Our apologies to all of our faithful readers and contributors; the years and years we have been hosted on the PHPNuke system has been productive and fun, but with the lack of PHPNuke support lately, it’s been harder and harder to protect the site from malicious activities and this has made management of the site not-so-fun to say the least about it.
GeeksWithGuns.com is going through a transformation from the PHPNuke CMS to WordPress. Please be patient while we work though this process. We hope to have a quality system back up over this weekend.
The White House is pulling out all the stops to pass ObamaCare, visit this site including an attack on Gun Owners of America and the Second Amendment.Unable to pass a bill that is openly hostile to millions of gun owners, more about the President and his anti-gun allies are forced to try to attack us through deception.
