Gun Control Advocate Shoots Intruder

What would you think if a long-time gun control advocate ended up shooting someone? Might the word “hypocrite” come to mind?

It did for me, and apparently for many others.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports North Carolina state senator R.C. Soles shot one of two intruders who attempted to break into his house.

But it gets even more interesting than the mere hypocrisy of a gun control activist shooting somebody.

The New York Times reports Soles won’t be seeking re-election, which is not a surprise since state prosecutors have said they plan to charge Soles because “he acted criminally when he shot a former law client.”-[source]

Some peope are just ignorant. They don’t check anything out.
Soles is a PROgun senator. Look up his NRA history. He is consistantly rated “A” by the NRA for his unbending support of NRA policies.

Now how dumb are all the people calling him anti-gun?

I never found the rating from the NRA
I tried to find Gun Owners Of America’s score card on this senator but wound up empty handed.
Usually an “A” rating by the NRA is actually a “C-” rating from Gun Owners Of America.
There is no such thing as a “pro-gun Democrat”.
A democrat is a Marxist without a gun.
If a democrat claims to be a supporter of the Second Amendment, he is running for election.
